Jim Hochstatter was born in Sublette, Illinois. He is a Grain Elevator Manager and farmer full-time in addition to running Freedom Force, being on the Mendota Fair Board, and a father of two children. Jim came up with the name Freedom Force "because I wanted to remind everyone what our troops do for us on a daily basis and pay respects to them."

Freedom Force is relatively new to the Monster Jam circuit, but already has a Hot Wheels toy on store shelves and hopes to continue running more shows for both Monster Jam and other promoters each year.
"I am hoping to improve every time out with the truck, and I can't thank my sponsors, friends, and family enough for the opportunities they've given me," he says.

Freedom Force is a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado built in 2007. It has a 468 cubic inch, 1100 horsepower blown alcohol injected engine with a turbo 400 transmission. It has Pettibone planetaries with custom axles, shocks with 30 inches of travel, and a full race chassis with flip front end.
